It's quiet on the Island. . . Gather your Dinosaur forces as a prehistoric leader and lead them to gather food and grow. You take the role of a Dinosaur Commander and while you are unable to engage in combat directly, the forces you recruit will be able to fill that role. You must guide your followers to nearby food sources so they are able to grow. Once they are grown, they are able to defend themselves and more importantly, defend you. The Island does houses some other not-so-friendly Dinosaurs, beware!

Controls:

Some notes on controls, make sure you are near the Triceratops when you press (Q) to recruit them. You are unable to recruit the T-Rex.

Input Control
Right ClickMovement similar to RTS and Mobas
Left ClickTriceratops Selection (To view Feeding Bar)
Q Commanding Nearby Dinosaurs
Scroll-wheelCamera Zoom

This is sort of an exploration type sandbox game. It was more to test out the mechanics of simple RTS-controls and also a simple recruit system and letting AI fight one another.

Future implements: Mini-map, more dinosaurs, more thorough food system and resources, improved terrain/map, better camera, lots of polish and many more ideas!

This was my submission for a 7-day Game jam.

I killed 2 T-rexes! Nice game :) I like the concept, triceraptos animation when they are waiting for me to move, and of course the music :)

Thank you! I really appreciate it. The music was tough to nail since I wanted to match the style of the game and also the dinosaur/jungle theme haha.

Cool dinosaur game!
Would like collision to not matter between you and your followers, getting around 8 followers was hard.

But nice gameplay loop anyways!

Thanks for the feedback! I like that idea, I could definitely eliminate collision between the followers and the Player when they're in a following state.
